•   The low thermal conductivity and non wetting property of Aluminum Titanate Ceramic effectively reduce the slagging on the upper part of the riser, ensure the filling rate of the mold cavity, and improve the quality stability of the casting;

•   Compared with cast iron, carbon nitrogen and Silicon Nitride Ceramics, Aluminum Titanate Ceramic has the best heat shock resistance, which can eliminate the preheating treatment before installation and reduce the labor intensity of workers;

•   Among several commonly used aluminum liquid immersion materials, Aluminum Titanate Ceramic has the best non wettability, which can avoid brushing coating agent and has no pollution to aluminum.

Precautions for Use

•   Due to the low bending strength of Aluminum Titanate Ceramic, it is necessary to adjust carefully when installing flanges before installation to avoid excessive firmness or eccentricity.

•   Also, due to the low bending strength, attention shall be paid to the operation strength during the daily cleaning of surface slagging to avoid external force impact.

•   The Aluminum Titanate Ceramic Riser shall be kept dry before installation, and shall not be used when it is in wet condition.
